Code of Condut

1.    APPEARANCE:
Students are free to appear neatly and decently for practices, trainings and rehearsals.
Whenever any student of the academy is drafted with a team to honor any invitation at The King’s Palace or anywhere else, we will ensure that they are properly and professionally clothed. Sometimes certain uniforms may be required.  

The following outlook shall be considered inappropriate and consequently unacceptable for ministrations:
•    Ripped(rag) Jeans of any kind will NOT be allowed for ministrations
•    Hair must be neat and combed for ministrations
•    Inappropriate hairstyle will not be allowed (at Director/coordinator’s discretion)
•    Exposed Tatoos will not be allowed (in case the student already had tatoos before joining the team)
•    Use of earrings by male gender will not be allowed..

PLEASE NOTE.
THAT A STUDENT IS PART OF THE ACADEMY DOES NOT GRANT AUTOMATIC QUALIFICATION TO MINISTER EITHER AT TKP OR OUTSIDE TKP UNDER THE GROUPS MENTIONED ABOVE

2.    ATTENDANCE/PUNCTUALITY
Parents are encouraged to drop off students at least 5 minutes to practice kickoff time. Should a student run late, a  text message will suffice. It is the responsibility of the STUDENT to ensure and keep reminding parent of practice time. This will make them responsible music ministers.

PROMOTION FROM FEEDER TEAM TO THE KINGDOM BOYZ
A student from the feeder team will be promoted but on probation to the main team(The Kingdom Boyz/girls) for few months before permanent confirmation based on The Director’s discretion under the following conditions..
When he is considered to
1.    Follow simple instructions during practice
2.    Put in ‘above board’ effort at practice
3.    Obedient to parents at home (Parents will confirm)
4.    Be of a good influence to others
5.    Pass a simple auditioning/practical test
SUSPENSION/ADVICE TO WITHDRAW
A student will either be suspended or advised to withdraw from the King’s Palace Music academy if
  1. He/She is found in constant non compliance to the Academy’s code of conduct.
  2. He becomes a bad influence to others
  3. He is caught sowing seeds of disunity
  4. He shows unruly attitude that may pose a problem
  5. The Academy constantly receive reports of misbehavior from home.
  6. He no longer shows a good example of what the academy represents..

BONDING
The school organizes relevant well supervised social activities outside music that promotes unity amongst the team. The Venue will always be communicated by the logistics manager. This is important to the academy. Student should seek permission to be absent whenever they can’t make it.

CLASS OPENING.
The first few minutes of every practice is usually dedicated to prayers, reviews, discussions, bible study. It is important for students to arrive on time

MONTHLY FEES
Tutoring fees are very affordable. Payments are due from the 1st-3rd of Tutoring month, Late payments shall attract monetary penalties.

NON TKP MEMBERS
The King’s Palace Music Academy is open to anyone who will be able to comply with the Academy’s code of conduct.

ABSENTEEISM
A minimum of 24hours notification is required for any student to be absent from scheduled meetings. Because each level/category of students (main or feeder team) are lectured together (in their respective groups) to promote unity and coordination,  Should a student have any reason to be absent, the student/parent  is expected to communicate with the academy else payments made for that class are forfeited without any make up lessons. Genuine reasons will always be accommodated.
